Alioscopy was founded in 1999 by Pierre Allio, who pioneered in glasses-free 3D displays and multiple view camera systems as early as 1986. Since then, a portfolio of patents covering all aspects of this groundbreaking technology has been registered internationally. Alioscopy headquarters and European
showroom are located in Paris. The company employs twenty people in France, Singapore and the United States. In 2007, Groupe Tranchant, a French industrial group, took a strategic stake in the company to help industrialise production and expand business worldwide. This partnership sets solid grounds for future developments.
The technology is based on the combination of an image multiplexing algorithm and a high precision array of lenses very accurately positioned on top of the LCD panel. Optics manufacturing and mounting are held at our production facilities in Paris.
The outstanding features of Alioscopy 3D displays (depth span, brightness, sharpness, contrast and color) along with the efficiency and versatility of our bundled software have garnered international recognition and praise in the
press. French magazine
PC Achat distinguished Alioscopy with its
Innovative product of the year 2010 award in its December 2009 edition and
DailyDOOH awarded the company with its
Best In Show Award at Screen Media Expo in 2009.
